GEORGIAN COLONIAL DEEP ENERGY RENOVATION  Buckland, MA | 2014

This beautifully sited deep energy retrofit started as a two bedroom ranch with serious moisture and drainage problems.  The existing building was demolished to the floor deck and new walls, a second floor, roof and wrap around porch were added.  The former garage and mudroom were all that remained. Walls were sheathed in rigid foam, triple glazed windows and rainscreen siding to achieve Energy Star Tier 3 certification.  New foundation drainage and site grading was done by W.R. Hillman & Sons and construction by Salmon Falls Builders.
